I'm lucky enough to have been raised in the 80's and was the perfect age to truly embrace the golden age of horror! I actually snuck into the theater to see John Carpenter's "The Thing" and that movie SHATTERED my very concept of horror! Before that, monsters were simple, and obvious. You always knew who the bad guy was on sight, and the danger had rules...Vampires can't play in the sun...silver bullets for werewolves...you get the idea. But the Thing redefined it all...from that day on, i was OBSESSED with all the levels and layers that fear could truly have. Now, as an adult, that love is still just as strong.

I recently made a massive leap, moving from the weird and wonderful Austin, TX, all the way to the vibrant chaos of Bangkok, Thailand! The dream was big, the adventure exciting... until the job I had lined up here pulled a vanishing act right before I started. So, yup, I'm currently unemployed in a foreign country.

This site, this community, it's more than just a passion project now. It's a lifeline, a labor of love that I'm hoping can also help me stay alive (or at least undead!) while I navigate these uncharted, spooky waters.
